W.K. Kellogg Foundation

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation aims to empower society’s most vulnerable children by addressing three main levers that impact their ability to break the cycle of poverty: education and learning; food, health and well-being; and family economic security. At the same time, the foundation sought ways to establish itself as thought leader around racial equality in order to ensure vulnerable children have an environment in which they can thrive.

Weber Shandwick was retained by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to spearhead a comprehensive communications program that would help them promote their racial equity efforts – which extend across all program areas – in a holistic manner. In this capacity, we have provided strategic messaging counsel to establish a differentiated, meaningful and sustainable platform. We also created and executed a community management plan that used video and infographics to narrate and then socialize the foundation’s work; it’s signature racial equity program, America Healing; and stories among their employees, grantees and relevant opinion leaders.
